Executive Chairman, International Graphite
Phil Hearse is Executive Chairman of International Graphite. He is a metallurgist with 40 years international experience in diverse and challenging projects around the world and is considered an authority on graphite project development. His career has taken him from operational and technical roles at Broken Hill, Bougainville Copper, Queensland Nickel (QNI) and Gove Alumina to senior executive and managerial positions. Mr Hearse founded and managed Normet Pty Ltd, one of Australia’s major metallurgical and process companies for eighteen years and then held the key role of Director Advisory with GRD Minproc Ltd (now Amec Foster Wheeler). He is also Chairman of the Australian ASX listed graphite developer BlackEarth Minerals NL which is developing the Maniry graphite project in Madagascar. His private company, BatteryLimits, is a key international process engineering company currently undertaking graphite study and project development work for ASX and AIM listed companies in Tanzania, Madagascar and Australia.
