Researcher, University of Exeter Business School / Camborne School of Mines
Nic is a researcher based at the University of Exeter, looking at responsible sourcing and certification of minerals, and the challenge of assuring environmental and social impact standards across complex supply chains. Prior to this, he spent 20 years working in various roles at the Geological Society of London, most recently as Director of Policy and Communications.
Nic is an Executive Council member of the International Association for Promoting Geoethics (IAPG), and a trustee of Geology for Global Development (GfGD). He holds a BA in History and Philosophy of Science (University of Cambridge), and an MSc in Science and Technology Policy (University of Sussex).
